2026 January Tournament

Organization:
– Individual format, flights based on GHIN handicap.

How It’s Played:
– Players play their own ball. A double bogey is the maximum score on each hole.

– Players are to remove their highest score on one Par 3, Par 4 & Par 5.

– For example, if a player shoots a 89, the three worst holes: +2, +2, +2 on those holes is +6 to par.

– Total excess on those three = 2 + 2 + 2 = 6.

– Throw-Out-3 gross = 89 − 6 = 83.

– ALL SCORING IS DONE GROSS BASED ON GHIN AND THEN FLIGHT.

– Ties: Scorecard playoff using the best last 9 gross scores, then last 6, last 3, last hole, all evaluated after the Throw-Out adjustment. If still tied, hardest-handicap hole backward.

Scoring:
– All players play their own ball for 18 holes of stroke play.

– After the round, each player drops their 3 worst hole scores (One Par 3, Par 4 & Par 5 relative to par).

– Final total = Gross score minus the excess over par on the 3 worst holes.

– Only holes over par are eligible.
